Jacki had her LAP-BAND® surgery in April of 2007.

Dr. Aguila, Tina and Shawn: Today is my 34th birthday, but my other birthday was and forever will be April 5th, 2007. Not only have I lost the weight, but the years also! My co-workers thought I was turning 24, not 34.

I wanted to take a minute to say "THANK YOU" for everything. Dr. Aguila, for all that you have done and continue to do, Tina for being my strength and my "go-to" when I have a question and always offering a much needed hug at the appointments, and Shawn for always having a smile on the phone when I call into the office! I needed this for me, for my family that I love and you have given me more encouragement, more confidence and more energy than I have had since I was in high school.

Yours is not a typical office where you are a name and number. You are a real genuine group that cares deeply for all the patients, and anyone even thinking about this surgery should know that they will not only be in the best care before and during the surgery, but every pound lost there after. Thank you again for everything.
